The Motion Designer's focus will be correctly interpreting the brief, from considering strategic insights and capturing brand messaging and propositions to conceive creative ideas and visual concepts, and powerfully bring them to life in animated format. All in line with the evolution of innovative storytelling at TEAM LEWIS.

The right candidate should be able to implement “out of the box” thinking and technical skills and combine them with strong organizational, planification and time management qualities to a varied range of projects, from brand animations, corporate videos, product and promotional videos, screen-casting videos, and impactful social animated content to 2D/3D animation, kinetic typography, or title animations.


  • Proficient using 3D animation preferably Cinema 4D 
  • Produce high-quality motion graphics visuals and animated content for internal and client purposes
  • Work on all stages of an animation project from conception to delivery, including brainstorms, storyboards, asset creation and animation; ensure workflow is logical and structured, delivering to deadline
  • Proficient using After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience in Augmented Reality or Virtual Reality tools a bonus
  • Background in graphic design desirable but not essential
  • Ability to produce work in a number of different visual styles, or following a specific brand style
  • Storyboard in accordance with project briefs and for new business pitches. Hand-drawn skills are a welcome
  • Strive for perfection, bringing a high level of quality control to ensure that everything that is produced under the TEAM LEWIS name is striking, innovative and professional

About you

  • Fluent English
  • Based in Lisbon, Barcelona, Madrid or Milan
  • The candidate will have experience of working in a creative team in an agency producing a variety of videos on a range of topics
  • Ability to produce work in a number of different visual styles, or following a specific brand style
  • Graphic design knowledge and passion for typography
  • Experience in various styles of animation and motion graphics techniques
  • Understanding of digital media techniques, videos, formats, and compressions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Conceptualizing, storyboarding, scripting, and presenting skills either internally or for external clients
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills: proven track record of meeting deadlines and budgets
  • Ability to solve problems, manage projects and multi-tasking work
  • A passion for animation and motion design that expands to researching and staying at the cutting edge of video/filming techniques and trends; connected within the creative community
  • Integrity, humility, self-drive/initiative – and a sense of humour!
