Ogilvy Amsterdam is looking for a talented hybrid motion designer/content creator for its creative floor.

Here, you'll work with like-minded people, pushing for creative solutions that nail the briefs and excite our national & international clients.

At Ogilvy, we inspire brands and people to impact the world. We do this by delivering borderless creativity at the intersections of culture, data and creativity.

All of our disciplines work together in our bright, open-plan office, with a friendly culture and creatively permissive environment (we find the best ideas pop up that way).

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate shows a good sense of design principles, motion graphics skills, social media expertise, and strong attention to detail.

You’re able to interpret high-level direction and build on it.

You’ll translate our clients’ brand language by designing and producing assets tailored for advertising, social campaigns, pitch decks and internal communication.

You’ll need to balance when to move fast and know when to focus on the details.

You love to learn, unlearn, and relearn to keep up with today's ever evolving, noisy, hyper-connected world. And excited to work in a stellar design team.

  • Your heart lives in the motion design world.
  • You have a keen eye for detail while also keeping the bigger picture and brand guidelines and TOV in mind.
  • You get enthusiastic about everything design and you’re broadly interested in culture, tech and film.
  • You are passionate about working with people, contributing as part of a team, and making others around you (and their ideas) get better.
  • You have an open and curious mindset, pragmatic attitude and a hands-on mentality.
  • You are a driven designer and a proactive team-player.
  • You handle tight deadlines with a positive and constructive attitude and maintain a structured workflow.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in a Design or Content creation role (e.g. Motion designer, Content Creator, Digital Designer, Video editor)
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher is a plus – preferably in Media or Graphic Design.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Cap Cut for social content creation is a plus.
  • A visual portfolio that speaks volumes about your design talent, skill and experience with everything from remarkable social content to catchy case studies to stunning presentation designs.
  • A good understanding of grid systems, colour theory and typography, and able to tie each of these elements together with attention to detail.
  • Great knowledge of animation principals and able to create video and motion assets, mainly using After Effects and Premiere.
  • Fluent English (written & spoken).
  • Basic 3D knowledge is plus, but not necessary.

What we offer

  • A full-time position at one of the most creative and professional network agencies.
  • The opportunity to work for A-brands that are highly visible.
  • Great learning experiences, client contact, high levels of responsibility and many opportunities to take the initiative.
