The ideal candidate should have experience in design and creative development, branding and identity development, live-action production, original content development, 2D and 3D animation pipelines, VFX and editorial. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Budgeting and Cost Management:

  • Bidding and scheduling incoming projects and collaborating closely with EP and creative directors on proposals to ensure alignment on the creative vision and client budget expectations.
  • Submit Project Award Emails and 1st Billing Requests if the producer has not yet been onboarded.
  • Monitor project production expenses to ensure adherence to the budget. 
  • Identify cost-saving measures when necessary. 
  • Make informed decisions regarding resource allocation.
  • Supervise all project wrap meetings and timely adherence
  • Profit and Loss accountability - reporting to CFO and EP on ongoing and regular basis

Production Supervision:

  • Hire and manage production staff and freelancers, including Producers and Coordinators. 
  • Liaise with Head of Talent on all other creative artists.
  • Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow. 
  • Provide feedback and guidance to post-production team members. 
  • Key point of contact for issues escalations and recommendations for solutions to EP
  • Set / maintain and evolve IF’s production guidelines and goals to current standards
  • General "housekeeping" of daily and weekly tasks of overseeing production budgets, margins and billings,  according to company policy and processes. 

Quality Control Oversight and Adherence:

  • Ensure all deliveries are best in class and that all final deliverables meet all specifications and deadlines. 
  • Identify and address any technical or creative issues that may arise during production. 
  • Liaise with IT/  systems department for internal goals and project related needs (rendering, security, plug-ins, scaling studio, etc) as it pertains and affects the production department.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Maintain open communication with the production team, directors, producers, and other stakeholders throughout production. 
  • Regularly update all parties on production progress and address any concerns. 
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed. 
  • Manage collaboratively with other department heads across growth, resources, accounting, and operations.
  • Build and maintain sustaining relationships with clients at all levels, actively assist in repeat sales.
