We’re looking for a West Coast-based senior motion designer to work remotely on projects in the entertainment and tech industries, to join our team full-time. 

Someone who loves design-led motion, has a strong eye for typography, and feels comfortable taking projects from concept through final delivery while collaborating closely with a tight-knit creative team. 

Someone who believes in and advocates for diversity in the creative fields.

You’ll work with clients at Disney, Nat Geo, Meta, Netflix, Google, Hulu, Dropbox, The Getty Museum, and others.

Responsibilities

• Leading motion design on brand and campaign work.
• Designing styleframes, pitch decks, graphics packages, DOOH, etc.
• Pitching and presenting work to clients.
• Able to provide art direction when needed.
• Creating on-brand, internal BIEN assets for use across social media, decks, etc
• Advocating for diversity and inclusion on-screen and behind the scenes in your daily work.
• Collaborating with designers, CDs, and producers.

Requirements

• Must LIVE on the West Coast and work PST hours. No exceptions, sorry.
• Must have 5+ years of experience at motion design studio(s). No exceptions, sorry.
• A conceptual thinker & a process-obsessed organizer.
• Strong 2D design and typography skills are required. Strong animation / 3D skills are a big plus.
• Exceptional communication skills, while being a proactive team player, thoughtful, and collaborative
• Must have client-facing skills and experience.
• Be meticulous and detail-oriented (if you read this, put 3 asterisks in the 1st line of the submission form) under tight deadlines.
• Be chill, no-ego, friendly, and team-oriented. At the same time, you’re someone who will always push to do the best work.
• Comfortable working asynchronously with a global team without micro-management.
