CLIENT SERVICES PARTNER CONTRACTOR ROLE

Contract: This role will commence with a two-week trial period within an initial four-month contract, with potential for incremental extensions that may continue for a year or more.
Location: Sydney, Australia (Open to remote Australia-Wide candidates. However, please indicate if you can work on-site at Buck Sydney with appropriate working rights.)
Schedule: Buck Sydney operates Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm AET. Some work may occur outside standard business hours depending on project and client needs. Additional hours are compensated according to applicable local working-rights standards and BUCK’s normal practices and procedures.
Job Description:
The Client Services Partner is responsible for stewarding client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction, and driving long-term account health and growth. This role requires strong communication skills, a broad familiarity with creative production (design, 2D, and 3D animation) to support strategic partnership thinking; producers will manage the actual production workflow, and the ability to partner closely with Client Service Directors, Creative Directors, Producers, and Senior Client Stakeholders.
You will serve as a strategic point of contact, leading the project to success end-to-end. While you own the strategic direction, the production process is a shared responsibility between the Client Services Partner and the Producer, anticipating challenges, and ensuring alignment between client objectives and BUCK’s standards of craft and service.
This role focuses primarily on managing Tech client relationships across multiple work-streams. You will support client feedback cycles, manage expectations, and help synthesize cross-project insights for internal teams.
Requirements:
- Lead day-to-day client relationship management across multiple concurrent projects.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, managing feedback, expectations, and communication across workstreams.
- Partner with Client Services Directors, Creative Directors and Producers to ensure project goals, timelines, and deliverables align with client objectives and BUCK’s creative standards.
- Facilitate clear, efficient communication between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders across time zones.
- Anticipate risks or roadblocks and work with production to maintain timelines, quality, and smooth collaboration.
- Help guide clients through the creative process, providing context, rationale, and strategic recommendations as needed.
- Support brand and messaging cohesion across all client-related projects.
- Conduct regular client check-ins to gauge satisfaction, identify opportunities for improvement, and foster long-term partnership growth.
- Participate in internal meetings to stay informed on project status, resourcing needs, and cross-team considerations.
- The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel internationally from time to time (estimated at twice or more per year) as part of the role to support project needs, client meetings, and/or team collaborations.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Business English
- Creative production (design, 2D, and 3D animation) knowledge.
- 4–8 years of account management or client success / client services partner experience within design, animation, creative production, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Exceptional communication - capable of translating client feedback into clear direction for creative and production teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to anticipate challenges and propose actionable solutions.
- Comfortable working with clients and teams across different time zones and cultural contexts.
- Familiarity with creative production workflows (design, 2D/3D animation, motion graphics) and the ability to speak confidently about the process without needing to be hands-on.
Bonus Skills (Not a requirement):
- Fluent in Business Korean
- Experience with Korean corporate stakeholders or global enterprise clients.
- Proficiency with software: Slack and Figma.
- Understanding of post-production and animation pipelines at a high level.
