Reuters is seeking a talented Motion Graphics Designer. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and animating dynamic motion graphics to enhance our digital video content. 

They will have a strong portfolio showcasing creative motion graphics projects, proficiency in animation software, an interest in AI tools, and a passion for visual storytelling.

As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will:

  • Collaborate and communicate with video producers and editors to understand project objectives and translate them into engaging motion graphics.
  • Conceptualize, design, and create dynamic animations, transitions, and visual effects to enhance video content, and digital assets.
  • Develop custom graphics, editable motion graphic templates, icons, and typography to align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in motion graphics, animation and AI tools.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You should apply if you have: 

  • Proven experience in designing and creating motion graphics, with a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics projects
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite especially After Effects.  
  • Knowledge of video editing software and techniques, especially Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with business and technology topics and terminology.
  • Ideally some newsroom experience.
