
Project Manager
(9 month contract)
Reporting to: Project Director
Works closely with: Senior Producer & Client-Side Production Team

This role is embedded within a dedicated client account, requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills to execute high-quality creative output. With your sharp instincts and problem-solving skills, you navigate challenges before they become roadblocks. You ask the right questions, anticipate needs, and keep everyone informed—because if something’s happening, you already know about it. Your superpower? Making sure everything runs smoothly, so the team can focus on delivering outstanding creative work.
You excel in fast-paced creative production, transforming complexity into clarity. As the Project Manager, you’ll collaborate with a single client and production team, ensuring seamless execution of CGI and motion design projects. You’ll oversee planning, scheduling, and workflow management - keeping projects aligned, on time, and up to the highest creative standards.
The Opportunity:
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Track project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment with overall objectives and project priorities.
- Resource Allocation: Manage daily scheduling and resourcing, ensuring teams operate efficiently and within scope while identifying and addressing potential gaps or bottlenecks.
- Forecasting and Utilization: Monitor forecasts vs. actual time spent, providing utilization reports to the Project Director to optimize resource planning.
- Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with the client’s internal producers to align on workstream priorities, adjustments, and evolving project needs.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project records, including risk logs, schedules, and scope management documentation, to ensure clarity and accountability.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to resourcing, timelines, or scope and escalate issues proactively to mitigate disruptions.
- Budget Management: Support the Senior Producer in tracking project budgets, ensuring financial alignment, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Team Collaboration: Facilitate consistent internal communication, providing teams with regular status updates and progress reports to maintain transparency and alignment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in project management within a creative agency, production studio, or motion design environment.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with experience managing multiple projects at once.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Ability to track and report on resource allocation, time utilisation, and budget adherence.
- Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment with tight deadlines.
