We are looking for a Manager, Motion Design & Animation to lead the development of dynamic, visually compelling motion graphics and animations that elevate our brand storytelling. 

This role is responsible for concepting, designing, and executing high-quality motion content, ensuring alignment with brand identity and marketing objectives. 

The ideal candidate has a strong design sensibility, deep expertise in animation, and a strategic mindset, translating creative direction and trend insights into motion concepts. 

They will create storyboards, propose animation approaches, and execute polished motion graphics that enhance video content and brand experiences, bringing a relentless drive to push content to the next level. 

Responsibilities

Motion Design & Animation 

  • Design and animate high-quality motion graphics, 2D/3D animations, and kinetic typography for brand storytelling and initiatives.  
  • Execute visually compelling animations that enhance video content, digital experiences, and campaign assets. 
  • Ensure all motion design aligns with brand guidelines, creative direction, and storytelling objectives. 

Concept Development & Storyboarding

  • Create storyboards, style frames, and motion concepts to align stakeholders on creative direction.
  • Propose motion design approaches informed by creative trends, audience insights, and brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with videographers, editors, and designers to integrate motion seamlessly into broader content projects.

Innovation & Industry Trends

  • Stay ahead of motion design trends, animation techniques, and emerging technologies to push creative boundaries.
  • Explore and experiment with new animation styles and tools to continuously elevate motion content.
  • Provide thought leadership on best practices for motion storytelling, pacing, and engagement.
     

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in motion design, animation, and motion storytelling, ideally working in-house for a brand or at an agency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience in motion design. 
  • A strong portfolio showcasing experience in motion design, animation, and visual storytelling is required. 
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Illustrator, and other industry-standard software.
  • Strong ability to storyboard, develop motion concepts, and present ideas to align creative direction with stakeholders. 
  • Strong storytelling and design sensibility, with the ability to create engaging content that aligns with brand messaging.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a keen eye for detail, pacing, and composition.

Compensation Range: $96,000.00 - $143,000.00, plus bonus.
