The Global Digital Creative + Innovation Studio is a future-forward creative group exploring new frontiers in consumer engagement and storytelling.  

It is an end-to-end, multidisciplinary studio developing innovation-led campaigns and activations for Nike’s biggest global products, stories, and sport moments - through partnerships and owned platforms - to reach millions of Nike fans through digital and real-world experiences.  

From crafting immersive storytelling to exploring new media and virtual worlds, the team leverages technology and disruptive concepts to inspire, innovate, and continually push the Nike brand into bold, uncharted spaces.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to the Senior Creative Director, Digital Impact.  As a key collaborator and creative partner, you’ll work closely with studio creative leaders, design peers, producers, external agencies, and cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end creative concepts.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Lead Digital Creative Designer is a conceptual thinker and visionary who merges creativity and technology to create best in class immersive storytelling, engagement, and experiences for Nike’s digital ecosystem.  

As a multi-hyphenate creative, your portfolio showcases deep experience and ability to effortlessly move across creative disciplines; conceptual thinking, graphic design, motion design, and content mapping. 

We are seeking someone with the drive and agility to push beyond the conventional, who is passionate and determined to create boundary-breaking experiences and lead Nike into a new era of design thinking.

  • 7+ years of experience as a Digital Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing the design of campaigns, interactive concepts and experiences, across digital platforms.
  • Bachelors degree in design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise in digital design, including, branding, typography, motion, behavior, and layout principles.
  • A strong multi-disciplinary background in Art Direction, Visual, Motion, Interaction and Experiential Design.
  • Proven experience in digital design, development and execution of distinct experiences, campaigns, or ideas.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and prototyping tools such as Figma, Keynote, Sketch and Origami
  • Expertise in After Effects and other Motion and 3D apps is a strong plus.
  • Outstanding ability to communicate your ideas to brand partners, designers, producers, and leadership through storytelling, visuals, and presentations.
  • Ability to present and sell-in creative concepts and carry through to execution.
  • Passion for current trends in Technology, Design, Art, Interactive and Experience Design.
  • Collaborative working process and multi-disciplinary approach to design.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work on time and with attention to detail.
  • Experience in handling several complex projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, good communicator and a great team-player!
  • A desire to connect people in new ways through technology.
  • Work hard, play hard attitude and a great sense of humor.  
  • A Passion for Sport and Culture.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role, you’ll partner with Global Brand Creative, Digital Product Design, Digital Marketing, and agency teams to deliver innovative, immersive digital concepts and experiences. 

Collaborating closely with cross-functional creative teams, you ideate and develop innovative concepts from strategy through execution. 

You translate cutting-edge ideas into visually exciting and intuitive designs across digital environments.  You’ll also deliver holistic design solutions while staying attuned to future digital design trend, expanding the boundaries of immersive storytelling.
