Motion Graphics Artist (12 months)

The Mograph artist will design and build motion graphic sequences, titles, lower thirds, and even full product exploration videos to bring product concepts to life across our Creators team.
You will further conceptualise and create these assets in partnership with our Experience Director, whom they will report into.
Most importantly, you will ensure the concept or asset is as clear and communicative as possible, using modern design principles and leaning into motion/design trends which make the work stand out.
What skills does EA look for?
• High level of proficiency with After Effects, Blender or Cinema 4D, Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator & FIGMA.
• Excellent conceptual, graphic & motion design skills
• Understand flow, composition, motion design and how they relate to the user experience
• 2-5 years track-record designing/implementing/leading motion efforts for products or sequences
Responsibilities:
• Work in close collaboration with Engineers, Producers, Product Managers, Creative Leadership and strategists to design elements and full product overviews that are clear, communicative, and feel slick to the consumer- focusing on visual design and product excellence.
• Communicate a clear vision for the product or element, and what is required to bring it to life.
• Iterates designs according to reviews, changing requirements, and feedback.
• Collaborate with EA teams to understand project requirements and create concepts for motion graphics
• Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for a variety of projects
• Edit and modify existing elements to fit specific project requirements
• Develop animatics and edits to visualize the design and motion of graphics
• Create, render, composite and edit sequences to final delivery.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, or a related field
• Portfolio showcasing motion graphics and animation work
• Proficient in motion graphics software such as After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Maya
• Experience with design principles, typography, and color theory
Portfolio:
Please provide examples of motion graphic & editorial work, along with matching descriptions of what you did in the scene. Don’t be shy of including early prototypes and unfinished work.
