At ABC Entertainment Marketing, we are seeking a talented Motion Designer/Animator who will play an exciting role in designing and executing original motion graphics and visual effects that captivate our audience. 

In this position, you will work hand-in-hand with our talented Senior Art Directors to create groundbreaking concepts, storyboards, and animations that promote our shows on-air, digital out-of-home platforms and on social media. 

You will ensure that the branding of assigned shows is consistently maintained and will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines. 

Reporting to a Senior Art Director, you will be an integral part of our creative team, bringing your skills to elevate our marketing initiatives that connect with our viewers.

Responsibilities

  • Extraordinary visual design with strong communication skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take on a project from start to finish - from concept/storyboard to completion (animation).
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot video/animation issues and provide solutions.
  • Passion for television and motion design.
  • Occasional late shifts and weekends may be required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience as a Motion Designer / Animator at a Television Network or Agency as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects.
  • Exceptional proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cinema 4D knowledge a plus.

Preferred Education

  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $85,800 to $115,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week. 

The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
