Senior Artists lead Tendril’s creative teams by building assets from concept to completion, mentoring juniors and intermediates, optimizing the 3D pipeline, and articulating design choices with creative and trend-driven expertise. 

They collaborate with directors, contribute to pitches, ensure team schedule adherence, and represent the studio in key client meetings while pushing artistic boundaries.

The Opportunity

  • Collaborate with our creative team and clients to deliver world class motion and design projects
  • Work with Creative Directors and Art Directors, building assets that bring concepts to life and collaborating with a team of artists to optimize your contributions and integrate your work into the animation pipeline
  • Demonstrate your ability to build assets from concept through to completion 
  • Lean into your animation and Light & Rendering skills to support productions
  • Communicate, articulate and defend design choices/concepts via mood-boards, sketches etc. 
  • Work within Tendril’s 3D pipeline, delivering your work in a compatible format and finding ways to make our team and process efficient
  • Contribute assets in support of new business pitches that enrich the ideas and vision established by senior team
  • Attend critical client-facing meetings as requested, presenting new work and intaking feedback to deliver to production team
  • Provide insight into discipline-specific processes and timeline planning
  • Spend time collaborating with world-class artists, developing their skills and activating them across various projects
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and intermediate members of the team, empowering them to grow their skills through clear feedback and direction
  • Ensure project teams adhere to the production schedule defined by the project leadership team, delivering work in a consistent and correct format
  • Pursue endless boundary pushing opportunities, consistently striving to acquire new skills related to software, animation and design
  • Infuse your work with your knowledge of current trends in areas including typography, fashion, architecture and contemporary art
