The Preditor (Producer/Editor) is a hands-on creative professional responsible for crafting engaging short-form video content for our Red Bull USA social media channels (Red Bull USA, Red Bull LFG, Red Bull 1520, Red Bull Air Force) as well as our global playground-specific vertical social media channels.

They will blend their production and editing skills to bring concepts to life, ensuring content is optimized for each platform, aligns with Red Bull brand objectives, and resonates with the target audience. 

This role involves collaborating with the social media team and external partners to produce high-quality, attention-grabbing content that drives engagement and brand awareness.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION

Plan and execute video shoots, capturing footage that aligns with the creative vision and brand guidelines. 

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling short-form videos, incorporating music, sound effects, and graphics. 
  • Optimize videos for each platform, ensuring they meet technical specifications and best practices. 
  • Apply color correction, audio mixing, and other post-production techniques to enhance video quality. 
  • Add captions, subtitles, and other visual elements to improve accessibility and engagement. Export and deliver final videos in various formats suitable for different social media platforms. 
  • Utilize platform-specific tools and editing techniques to maximize content reach and engagement. 
  • Collaborate effectively with the social media team, sharing ideas and providing creative input. 
  • Work with external partners, such as influencers and creators, to produce collaborative content. 
  • Manage relationships with external production partners, talent, and agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.

    TEAM MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
  • Support the executional project team with expertise in social content creation, platform tools and best practices. 
  • Support the Santa Monica channels team with ideation and execution. 
  • Coordinate with the Production Management Team on budget tracking, invoice payment and vendor management.

    STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION

    Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress. Provide regular updates on project status and progress to senior management.

    Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in video production and editing, with a focus on short-form content for social media.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and audience behavior.
  • Portfolio showcasing creative and engaging short-form video content.
  • Excellent creative and technical skills in video production and editing.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling and pacing for short-form content.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing social media landscape.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Passion for social media and a drive to create content that resonates with audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
  • Must have valid US Drivers License

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $65,600 - $98,400 + cash incentives. 

Range may differ for NYC & SFO Bay Area work locations. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
