At IMG, our Studios business use content and technology to power the world's passion for sport, working with global clients including The Premier League, The R&A, DP World Tour, Euroleague Basketball and Major League Soccer. 

We've built Europe's best-connected broadcast centre at Stockley Park, London, distributing 35,000 hours of content globally and creating some of the world's best sporting coverage. 

Our facilities include four broadcast studios, fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio, podcast, dubbing and VFX facilities, with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. 

Whether it's live coverage, archive, highlights, social media, branded content or feature films, we give the audience a front row seat to the best sport in the world.

What You’ll Do:

We have an opening for a Junior Motion Graphic Designer who is looking to start their journey in sports design. 

You will join our team on a fixed-term contract until June 2025. Supporting our design team and helping to craft and deliver design across our promos, campaigns, digital content, broadcast features and live studio shows.

Fearlessly creative and passionate about elite football, you will work closely with Middleweight Designers, Senior Designers, a Lead Designer, Head of Creative and with Creative Producers to help realise briefs from conception through to execution, working to fixed deadlines and delivering on time. 

You will work within brand guidelines. Helping to deliver innovative ideas to drive forward our production. Experience in pitching is a bonus but not essential.

You will work within a team and self-directed. Taking direction and working closely with the rest of the team to help deliver design work across all our platforms. 

The team work with archive footage and photography as well as original content.

Weekend and evening work will be required as well as travel to work with players and clubs around the Premier League.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

• Working as part of a dedicated PLP Creative Team our Junior Motion Graphic designer will work on briefs from conception through to execution across broadcast features, live studio shows, promos and digital content.

• Day to day the Graphic Designer will work closely with Creatives, Producers and Directors to deliver projects on brief and on time.

• Our Graphic Designer will be curious and want to explore new design trends as well as working towards clear direction.

• Our Graphic Designer will show a complete understanding of the core Premier League brand guidelines and be comfortable operating in and around them.

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

• A portfolio of motion design.

• Not essential but preferred, a solid understanding of static design principles.

• Ability to conceptualize ideas into final design.

• Ability to collaborate with peers to produce best in class design.

• Ability to tell a visual story concisely.

• Experienced within the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Photoshop.

• Passionate and knowledgeable about football design and current design trends.

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Excellent football knowledge (with a focus on Premier League).
