You are a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager with a passion for building relationships in a thoughtful and strategic way. 

You excel at identifying opportunities, building relationships, and opening doors to new revenue streams for Hornet.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Outreach: 
    • Proactively source and generate new business opportunities across creative production, branded content, and media.
    • Identify, research, and qualify potential clients across diverse industries, including advertising, entertainment, and brand marketing.
    • Leverage tools such as trend reports, competitive analysis, and personal networks to identify and engage potential partners.
  • Client Engagement: 
    • Conduct needs assessments and research to craft tailored solutions that align with client goals and Hornet's capabilities.
    • Maintain consistent communication with prospects, guiding them through the qualification process to transition seamlessly to the Account Executive team for closing.
  • Collaboration and Strategy: 
    • Partner with internal teams to align on business development strategies and provide market feedback.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging opportunities to position Hornet as a leader in the creative production space.
    • Share insights and collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment on outreach strategies and campaign effectiveness.
  • Tracking and Reporting: 
    • Maintain and update prospect lists, tracking outreach efforts, engagement metrics, and conversion rates.
    • Ensure smooth handoffs to teams and track the success of qualified leads through the sales pipeline.

Qualities:

  • Proven track record in business development with a focus on creative production, media, or branded content.
  • Experience sourcing and qualifying leads, with a strong aptitude for cold outreach and building new client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of creative production processes and storytelling for brand campaigns.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate Hornet's value proposition clearly and effectively.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Creative problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and can adapt to shifting market needs.
  • Passionate about the intersection of art and commerce, with a genuine enthusiasm for building relationships in the creative space.

Compensation: $75,000-$120,000 + Commission
